Amazon is now selling little buttons you can attach to a home appliance to order products like Bounty, Tide or Gatorade.
And, a couple of days before the start of the giant IFA tech trade show in Berlin last week, I attended a start-up event where Senic, a German company, showed off its Nuimo button that can be programmed to turn on devices and perform other tasks that would normally require a series of commands from a smartphone or a computer.
At the event, I spoke with Senic co-founder Tobias Eichenwald.
