Cell phone carrier Sprint is making house calls — at least in Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco and surrounding areas
The company’s Direct 2 You service will send a Sprint representative to your home, place of business, favorite coffee shop or, said Sprint VP Kevin Kunkel, “to your kids’ soccer game,” if you’d rather configure your new phone than watch the game (actually he didn’t say that part).
During the service, according to Sprint, the representative will:
- Activate your new phone
- Transfer of all your contacts, pictures, videos and apps from your old phone
- Ensure you’re comfortable with your new phone
