CNET News reports that the “uncarrier,” T-Mobile is “closing the coverage gap between itself and larger rivals AT&T and Verizon.” CNET’s Marguerite Reardon cites T-Mobile executives who claim that “the carrier’s 4G LTE service is available to more than 300 million people across the US, roughly the same number of people who can access AT&T and Verizon’s high-speed networks” and that it’s also adding “1 million new square miles of LTE coverage to its network.”
