I’m a firm believer in not re-inventing the wheel so, when I started my research on low-cost holiday gifts, I found a great guide from CNET that will serve you well.
I’ll let you click through to read the guide but, if you’re still with me, some of the recommendations include low cost headphones including the Tribit XFree Bluetooth Headphones that you can get on Amazon for $51.99 (admittedly slightly over $50). Like me, CNET recommends the Echo Dot, now on sale for $29.99, though if you’re going to use it for music, I recommend pairing it with Bluetooth speakers like these from JBL. or the Vava Voom Bluetooth speakers from Vava.
A portable USB phone charger is always a good stocking stuff. CNET recommends the myCharge brand but I’ve had good experience with less expensive ones that I’ve been known to pick up at Walgreens when I need one in a pinch. Just pay attention to the mAh rating (higher the better but know that higher mAh ratings also mean larger batteries so if size matters, scaling back in capacity is a good compromise and will still give you plenty of charge time.
Other low cost suggestions include: A $49.99 Fire Tablet. a USB hub, a car phone mount, wired or wireless earbuds, a smartphone case and USB cables.
Frys Electronics has its own listings of low cost gifts under $50 and even listings at under $5, under $10 and under $20.
When buying tech accessories make sure whatever you’re getting is compatible with the receivers devices. For example, there are several flavors of USB plugs and, of course, any case you get has to fit that person’s phone.
Again, I recommend going over to CNET’s guide for more suggestions
